obtaining inspection certificates and export insurance policies

🌟 Ensuring Quality in Export Process:

In the export process, ensuring the quality of goods is crucial as it directly impacts the reputation and success of businesses in global markets. Proper performance of inspection companies inside or outside of Iran will assure buyers of Iranian export goods.

📜 Inspection Certificates:

An inspection certificate (Certificate of Inspection) or a surveillance certificate is a document issued by one of the international inspection companies. This document is one of the most important commercial documents indicating the compliance of the quantity and quality specifications of goods with those mentioned in the contract between the buyer and the seller. Here are some of the certificates that can be issued for Iranian export goods:

- Certificate Of Inspection (COI)

- Standard Industrial Classification (SIC)

- Pre Shipment Inspection (PSI)

- Verification Of Conformity (VOC)

- Test Report (TR)

- Customer Satisfaction Certificate (CSC)

- Commissioning Certificate (CC)

- Visual Inspection Certificate (VIC)

- Certificate of Price (CRF)

- Certificate of Quality, Quantity, and Packaging (CQQP)

By using the services of an inspection company, the buyer can oversee the process and quality of goods during production, packaging, delivery to the carrier, or at any other stage. Depending on when the inspection is carried out, the inspection certificate is issued by the inspection company under a specific name. At any stage, the buyer or seller can use the services of an inspection company and ultimately receive the inspection certificate.

📑 Other Documents and Certificates:

For customs formalities, it is sometimes necessary to provide other documents and certificates, which the Iranian exporter is responsible for preparing. Some of these documents and certificates are mentioned below:

1- Manufacturer's Declaration (MD) and Supplier's Declaration (SD):

These certificates are issued by the manufacturer to ensure the goods comply with specific standards. These declarations, abbreviated as MD and SD, refer to the commercial invoice number.

2- Certificate of Origin (COO):

This document is issued by the Iranian Chamber of Commerce and specifies the place of production of the goods.

3- Certificate of Compliance (COC):

This certificate is issued by the standards departments and confirms the compliance of the imported goods with the standards. With this certificate, there is no need for further tests and sampling of the export goods at the destination.

4- Certificate of Registration (COR):

Issued by the Iranian Organization for Standardization and Industrial Research, this certificate is used for goods that are continuously exported from Iran.

5- Test Results Sheet:

This document records the test results of the goods along with details of the tests, usually issued by reference laboratories.

Export Insurance:

The Export Management Group (TPA) provides export solutions that facilitate the transportation of goods to the desired destinations of buyers of Iranian export goods and minimizes the risk for foreign buyers from the Iranian market.
